Tapasya Samal is an architect with a specialisation in Conservation of Historical Buildings from University of Bath (UK). She has been associated with DRONAH since 2005 and brings over two decades of extensive experience in architecture and heritage conservation. Her work spans across multiple Indian states, including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand, where she has contributed to a wide range of conservation and architectural projects. She has dabbled in academics, teaching architecture, design and real estate programmes.

Sarita Choraria has been heading office operations for DRONAH since September 2004. She is always keen to develop working systems for efficient delivery of managerial work related to DRONAH and DRONAH Foundation. She graduated in 2002, from Kanoria Post Graduate Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, Rajasthan and received a Master’s degree from Rajasthan University in 2004.Owing to her coordination skills, she has successfully coordinated official tasks related to heritage conservation projects and managed several outreach events like heritage walks, conferences and workshops. Her main area of interest lies in exploring new places.

Diksha Goel has been a part of projects led by the DRONAH team since 2020. She completed her bachelors in history from Miranda House, Delhi University and her masters in Heritage Management from Durham University. During her masters, she interned with UNESCO Chair on Archaeological Ethics and Practice in Cultural Heritage held by professor Coningham.

Srishti is a Cultural Heritage Expert at DRONAH, holding an MA in Heritage Management with a Dean’s List recognition from University College London, and a background in architecture & design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She presents extensive practice-based professional experience in heritage matters, accompanied with research work & project publications, with national and international organisations in India and the UK. Her core work areas at DRONAH include UNESCO World Heritage nomination & tentative listing, heritage interpretation, and, curatorial research & content development for museums and exhibitions. Her prior experience, with organisations such as World Monuments Fund and INTACH, focussed on conservation management planning, community consultation for heritage value assessment and heritage mapping. Srishti’s key practical and research interests lie in UNESCO World Heritage matters, inclusive heritage interpretation, and contested & dissonant heritage.

Srijani is an architect specializing in architectural conservation. She completed her Bachelor’s in Architecture in 2019 and was awarded a Gold Medal for her Master’s in Architectural Conservation from the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, in 2023. She has worked on a diverse range of commercial and residential design projects, as well as specialized heritage documentation and conservation projects in Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Kolkata. She is currently associated with DRONAH, working on museum and heritage projects in Kolkata. Her research interests focus on documentation, conservation methodologies and adaptive reuse of architectural heritage.

Malika Joshi is a Conservation Architect at DRONAH. She did her Bachelor’s degree from AIT-SAP in 2022 and completed MA in Architectural Conservation from the National University of Singapore in 2023. Malika specializes in research and documentation, conservation policies, and traditional building materials. Her professional experience spans across India and Singapore, where she has contributed to diverse projects involving heritage assessment, design development, advanced research methodologies, digital twin technology, and 3D laser scanning. During her postgraduate studies at NUS, she was awarded the TTCL Scholarship, which supported her in exploring universal accessibility in historic buildings. Her research on the topic gained further recognition through an interview with CNA Singapore, where she discussed the importance and practical implementation of inclusive design in heritage contexts.

Sohini is a Conservation Architect with a B.Arch from Manipal University and M. Arch in Architecture Conservation from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Sohini joined DRONAH in 2021 and is currently working on museum and conservation projects in Kolkata. Sohini’s work on the shared cultural heritage of Kolkata, specifically the Kolkata Chinese community at Tiretta Bazaar, was nominated to the World Monuments Watch 2022 by the World Monuments Fund.

Ayushi Roy, a 2024 architecture graduate from the MIT School of Architecture, Pune. Hailing from Patna and now based in Jamshedpur, she brings hands-on experience in digital heritage through LIDAR and photogrammetry from her 8-month stint at CHC, CEPT. Passionate about the intersection of history, culture, and community in architecture, Ayushi explores India’s lesser-known places, blending travel with research. She writes for architectural magazines, paints in her free time, and was recently part of a team awarded the CBRI Bhartiya Awas Uthan Puraskar. Her thesis was also recognized among the top 20 by NIUA.

Firdous is an architect with a Bachelor’s in Architecture (2022) from MBM University, Jodhpur, and a Master’s in Architectural Conservation (2025) from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. Originally from Jodhpur, she grew up amidst the heritage of Marwar, shaping her passion for historic architecture. She has worked with RSA Architects, undertaken freelance projects, and is currently with the DRONAH Foundation on research, documentation, and conservation of historic sites. Her work focuses on preserving cultural heritage while creating community-centered architectural interventions.

Anakha graduated from SPA Delhi with a Masters in Architectural Conservation in 2025.She brings aboard her passion for history and heritage and is keen on interpreting heritage for the community. She is enthusiastic of utilizing her skill sets in research, documentation, critical thinking and architectural design for heritage conservation. Apart from being a conservation architect, she enjoys her time as an observer of life through books and food.

Shreya Goyal completed her B.Arch from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, in 2025. With an early interest in heritage shaped through travel, she is currently engaged in conservation projects across Gwalior and Orchha, Madhya Pradesh. Her work spans documentation, drawing development, visual interpretation, and museum design, focusing on reinterpreting historic environments through thoughtful spatial experiences.

Ar. Williams is an architect and academic specializing in heritage conservation and historic built environments. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from SPA Vijayawada and has worked with leading conservation architects and heritage experts across India. He is currently working in School of Architecture (V-SPARC) VIT Vellore, he is also an Associate Fellow in Centre for Conservation of Sustainable Ethnic Heritage (CaSeH), was an Expert panel member for M.Arch Conservation SPA Vijayawada. His professional experience spans master planning for temple towns, contributions to state and national level museum projects, UNESCO world heritage sites management and development plans, historic manuscripts digitization, and action plan development for sites such as Gingee Fort. He has been associated with organisations including DRONAH Foundation, CASEH Malaysia, ASI, VIT Vellore, and SPA Vijayawada, engaging in research, consultancy, and academic initiatives. His work strongly focuses on digital documentation and data processing of cultural heritage, integrating technology into conservation practice.

Shruti is an architect graduated from the Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, with a focused interest in heritage conservation and cultural landscapes. She is currently engaged in work related to Orchha, contributing to research and documentation that support its historical and architectural significance. Her association with Dronah began during her internship, where she contributed to key projects, including the Maratha Military Landscapes of India World Heritage Nomination dossier. She is also a member of INTACH, reflecting her continued involvement in heritage-led initiatives. Driven by a curiosity for the layered narratives of historic environments, Shruti is particularly interested in how cultural memory, craftsmanship, and built form intersect. Her approach is rooted in exploring ways to sustain and reinterpret heritage within contemporary contexts.

Shahir is an Architect with a (B.Arch) from Anna University. He joined DRONAH in 2023 as an intern and, through his dedication and professional growth, has become an integral part of the team.

At DRONAH, Shahir contributes to a wide range of projects through his expertise in 3D model making, architectural rendering, and presentation development. He also plays a key role in handling and coordinating projects under the DRONAH South Chapter, ensuring smooth communication and effective project execution at the site level.

Nitin Kumar Jain have been working as a Heritage Site Supervisor documentation since 2007. Over the years, he has gained strong experience in the supervision, conservation, and management of historical sites.

He has been responsible for site inspections, maintenance planning, documentation, and coordinating with teams to ensure the preservation of heritage structures. His work has helped maintain the authenticity and structural integrity of these sites.

Manisha is a qualified legal professional with a degree in law along with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). She graduated from Amity Law School, GGSIPU, Delhi in 2021 afterwards worked with various senior advocates, building strong  legal knowledge. With her keen interest in administrative work combined with her expertise in law, she helps in ensuring accuracy and  smooth day-to-day office operations. Her expertise as a lawyer helps her manage office affairs in a structured and efficient manner.

Bajrang Lal Saini is a Senior Site Management Expert for Conservation Sites. He is associated with heritage and museum-related projects, in the capacity of project detailing and preparation of BOQs, since 2012. With hands-on experience in resolving site related issues of conservation projects, he has been actively involved in the execution and management of these projects on sites, right from the planning stage.

His work primarily focuses on site coordination, execution of proposed conservation measures and museum-related activities. He has contributed to various on-site operations, including supervision, documentation support, and coordination between teams.

His strengths lie in fieldwork, project coordination, and maintaining quality standards in heritage conservation.

Anuradha Srinadhuni is a Project Assistant at DRONAH. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Delhi, and a Master’s in Modern Indian History from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her previous work experience includes a stint at a cultural project funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She has also authored academic papers focusing on women’s history as well as food culture in India.
